Erin Coleman is president and CEO of Yad Consulting LLC. Coleman started the project management consulting firm to give veterans an opportunity to use the leadership and project management skills gained in the military in the construction industry. Coleman manages day-to-day activities and leads the organization in business development and long-term planning.

PAST EXPERIENCE OF YAD CONSULTING

Yad’s Senior Consultants have over 120 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. Yad’s Junior Consultants have a great deal of past experience in both project management and scheduling. The following is a snap shot of their tremendous experience:
 

  • Served as Vice President of Plant Services and Manager of Projects
     

    • Responsible for modification projects executed within operating nuclear power plants, as well as other EPC projects that fall within the Industrial Sector of Plant Services. Responsible for the pricing and development of new proposals for such work.

    • Served as Senior Project Manager

    • Responsible for engineering, procurement and construction/construction management for $740 million iron ore concentrator expansion in Canada. Managed a combined home office/field team peak staff of 165 technical, management and administrative personnel. Directed accountability from prime contract management, change management, customer relations and project execution planning. The project worked over one million hours without a lost-time incident.
       

  • Served as Vice President of Nuclear Services and Project Director of the AP1000 China Nuclear Power Plant
     

    • Negotiated the framework and final Nuclear Island contract and executed the work for four nuclear power plants in China.
       

  • Served as project manager for infrastructure, power and automation of a $4 billion aluminum smelter brownfield/greenfield modernization project in Canada.
    ​

    • Managed development of contracts and purchases in excess of $1 billion during the post-award engineering and procurement phase. Effectively transitioned design and awarded purchase and contracts to construction for execution.
       

  • Served as Senior Scheduler for Iluka Resources in Stony Creek, VA. During this $100-million project, he provided scheduling support services to a mining and mineral extraction corporation.
     

  • ​Provided scheduling support for the US Corps of Engineers while supporting two $1.5 billion design/build projects in Pueblo, CO and Bluegrass, KY.

  • Scheduler for Porter Roofing on the Metro Convention Center Remodel project, 2017
     

  • Scheduler subcontractor for Obrien and Gere on the TVA Normandy Dam Stability project, 2016
     

  • Assistant project manager for Mattress Firm build out, Nashville, TN, 2016
     

  • Conducted construction inspection reports for loan officer . Assured client that request for payments were in line with progress on the construction site., Nashville, TN, 2015– 2017
